For the 2017/18 PNE launched the ‘Generation Deepdale’ campaign. It was primarily a campaign for season tickets but it was to run all season. The idea behind the campaign was to target families and younger supporters to come and watch PNE.
It’s the biggest season ticket campaign I have been responsible for to date and it was nominated for Best Club Marketing, Sponsorship and Engagement award at the 2017 North West Football Awards.
The campaign saw the club use fans, employee, players and well-known celebrity supporters take to social media to share their experiences and memories of PNE to inspire others to attend. There was also adverts placed on billboards around the city and various Preston buses. We also produced stickers and car stickers, beer mats, brochures, e-newsletters, web graphics and social media graphics over the 10-week campaign some examples of which can be seen below;
